In 2017, Glenn Vance moved his family onto a small farmstead near Giddings, Texas. Having spent the previous few years battling complications from cancer treatment, he and his wife Debbi had to face a difficult reality. They would no longer be able to spend their retirement traveling like they dreamed, instead they opted for a quiet country life.

Debbi’s daughter, Ellis, and her husband joined the couple on the property to help manage the land. 

In December of 2020, Glenn left to be with the lord. To honor his life and legacy, the land is affectionately named the Glenn Vance Estates. 

Current residents on property include dogs, cats, chickens, Guinea hens, and an assortment of wildlife.
